There’s a lot of information out there and it can be confusing. Many times that information overload keeps you from succeeding. It’s okay. I want to assure you that with the correct guidance, you can achieve success in this area.

Many times we tend to believe that we need to devote years of studying or spend countless hours meditating in order to live more in the present moment. I am here to tell you that that’s not true. You just need a formula that you can follow, step by step, and that's what you're going to discover in this half-day seminar.

I know you have a desire to calm your mind, react more calmly to negative situations and live more in the present moment and I want to show you some techniques that can help you get there.

...that it's not necessarily the negative circumstance or negative people around you that can upset your mood or ruin your day?

I know this sounds strange because we’re so used to hearing that the only way to achieve peace of mind is to surround yourself with positive people and positive situations. Now, while it’s important to surround yourself with positivity, that’s not always practical or even possible. 

So, I am going to share three secrets with you, here on this page that can help you maintain a relatively calm mind in the midst of negative situations or even negative people.

An Important Part Of Calming Your Mind Is...
...finding the right balance between our thoughts and how we react to expected and more importantly unexpected negative situations.

What we need to understand is that how we react to the negative situation or negative person is more important than the actual negative situation or negative person itself.

So here, I’m going to share with you 3 secrets about finding the right balance between our thoughts and how we react to the world around us and how you can remain calm in the midst of negativity without trying to change everything around you.

Now you’re probably thinking that this different approach is going to take such a long time to master. But it really doesn’t take too much time at all. It’s more about understanding human nature and applying what we learned on a daily basis.

We all know that the people around us can trigger particular emotions in us, either in a good way or a bad way. And it would be great if we could always surround ourselves with positive people, but sadly, that is practically impossible. 
Secret #1
So the first secret is that you don't necessarily have to change the people around you, even if they are negative people. 

The big idea here is that we can start to control (with practice) how we react to these negative people. And this makes all the difference in the world.

This is important because if you're thinking that other people have the ability to ruin your day, you’ll always be a victim to other people's negativity. Remember, it's not necessarily the situation or the negative person that's changing your mood, it's more so your reaction to it.
Secret #2
The second secret is that there are ways to break the cycle of constantly dwelling on bad things that happened in the past or fearing what could happen in the future.

The main thing to understand is that concentrating on the present moment (mindfulness) is the key to getting out of your head.

This means that the more you are able to surrender your thoughts and concentrate on the present moment, the more peace you will experience.
Secret #3
The third secret is that what we are attracted to depends upon the repetitive thoughts we hold inside of our minds. For instance, what happens when you buy a new car? When you buy a new car, you start to see that same kind of car everywhere you go. Why? Because you're constantly thinking about it which forces your eyes to pay attention to things of similar energy.

The average person has thousands of thoughts every single day and a lot of these thoughts are not only the same thoughts they had yesterday, a lot of these thoughts are also negative thoughts. 

Understanding that what we think about most is what we are attracted to most is key because we can only act upon the opportunities that we are aware of. And if we are only aware of negative opportunities (because of our constant negative thoughts), thats the only opportunities that we will be able to act upon. 

But if we reprogram our minds to think more positive thoughts, we will then start to notice the positivity that surrounds us that we had no idea even existed and then we can start to act upon those new opportunities...more positive opportunities.

A little about Jeremy...

Having been diagnosed at a young age with a severe form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and anxiety, Jeremy knows first hand the effects of mental illness. He is known for his statement, "mental illness is as real as a broken bone." 

In 2006, Jeremy graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with a degree in Psychology. 

In 2010, he published his first book, The Power of the Mind: How I Beat OCD. In this book, he exposed his life living with a severe form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and what he did to reduce the struggle he once thought he could not. This book was published by Flanker Press and was released worldwide. 

He has been speaking on the topic of stress reduction for over ten years and has starred in three national and international television documentaries on the power of the mind. His work has given him the opportunity to share his message throughout Canada, the USA and the UK. To date his work has reached over 8 million people. 

Just like a broken bone can occur for many different reasons, anxiety and stress can occur for many different reasons. For example, biological issues, imbalances, trauma, and other occurrences can all play a factor.

In Jeremy’s books and presentations/seminars, he concentrates on two significant causes; our thought patterns and how we react to particular situations. Jeremy has been featured on many national and international television networks such as CTV, Global TV, Vision TV, NTV, CBC, TSN, and TSN2.

What is the first step when dealing with anxiety or overwhelming stress?
As talked about in all of Jeremy's presentations/seminars and books, when dealing with overwhelming stress or anxiety, reaching out for professional help (Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Therapist, etc.) is very important and highly recommended. 

Just like a broken bone can occur due to several reasons, stress and anxiety can occur for many different reasons. Biological issues, trauma, and a multitude of different causes are directly related to how stress and anxiety can occur.

While our thought patterns and how we react to situations can sometimes certainly cause anxiety and overwhelming stress, by no stretch of the imagination are these causes the only causes of anxiety and stress. This seminar, in addition to Jeremy's books, presentations, etc. concentrates on only these two distinct causes; negative racing thoughts and how we react to particular stressful situations. That's why it's so incredibly important to reach out for professional help when dealing with anxiety or overwhelming stress. 

This seminar also concentrates on how our thinking can play a role in helping shape our lives in a more positive manner. If your stress/anxiety is caused from your negative racing thoughts or how you typically react to situations, this seminar may be of help.

I have absolutely no experience in these types of seminars. Is that okay? 
Absolutely! That's exactly what this seminar is for! It's for beginners, in addition to those who have come to Jeremy's presentations or read his books. For those who are new to Jeremy's work, this seminar is the perfect place to begin. For those who are familiar with his work, they will get a more thorough look into techniques that will help them calm their minds, react more calmly to negative situations and live more in the present moment.
Is there a question and answer period?
Due to the amount of material that has to be covered during a relatively short period of time (4 hours) there will not be a question and answer period. However, stick around after the seminar and approach Jeremy one on one and ask him any questions you like! Jeremy welcomes the opportunity to meet attendees after each and every seminar. He's super approachable! 
Will I ever be put on the spot during this seminar?
Never! Rest assured, you can sit in the very front row without EVER having to worry about being put on the spot, asked any questions or asked to participate in any way, shape or form.
How long is the seminar?
Four hours in total.
Are there breaks?
Absolutely. Every 50 minutes we'll break for 10 minutes. So the timeline will look like this:

Seminar: 1:00pm - 1:50pm
Break: 1:50pm - 2:00pm
Seminar: 2:00pm - 2:50pm
Break: 2:50pm - 3:00pm
Seminar: 3:00pm - 3:50pm
Break: 3:50pm - 4:00pm
Seminar: 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Will there be water/snacks?
Yes! There will be lots of water and veggie/fruit trays in the back of the room for attendees.
What is the cost of this seminar?
Typically a seminar of this impact is $229+. However, helping people deal more effectively with stressful situations is Jeremy's passion. He is able to charge a very reasonable rate of only $99 (absolutely no hidden fees) due to his success with corporate audiences around the world. 

Remember, in order to deliver a seminar at this level, thousands upon thousands of dollars are spent in: rental of facility (sometimes $2000+), accommodations, travel, flights, marketing (radio ads, social media ads, print ads), website designers, ticketing fees, ushers, rental of specialized AV equipment and the list goes on and on. 

As you can see, to put off an event of such professionalism, thousands upon thousands of dollars are spent. Even though, most events of this magnitude sell for $229, Jeremy works diligently to deliver his seminar at the most reasonable price, considering the vast array of expenses involved.
I feel awkward going to seminars. Will I feel awkward here?
Not at all. There are all walks of life who attend these seminars. People who want to calm their minds, business owners and employees dealing with work-related stress, athletes who want to condition their minds to achieve their goals and practically every walk of life you can think of. 

Also, there will be tons of people who don't need the seminar themselves, but are going to discover information on how to help loved ones who are suffering with situational stress. 

Once again, there will be about 50 people in the conference room. Think of it like going to a movie theatre in a large theatre. You simply just sit down, relax and watch the seminar with absolutely no fear of ever (under any circumstance) being put on the spot (regardless of where you're sitting).
How many people will be in attendance? 
If this was one of Jeremy's typical 2-hour presentations, there would be anywhere from 400 - 1000 people. However, this is a half-day seminar and in seminars we have a capacity of 50 people. You will be seated a table where you can take notes if you wish (pens and paper provided). Considering that there will only be 50 seats available, it's important to secure your ticket(s) ASAP before this event inevitably sells out.
When do doors open to the conference room? 
At noon you can enter the actual seminar room to take your seat and get situated. The actual seminar begins at 1:00pm. 
Will there be assigned seating?
There will not be assigned seating. So please make sure you arrive between noon - 12:30pm to grab a good seat! 
During the seminar, will I be paired up with someone for certain tasks? This may feel awkward. 
We won't be pairing up anyone. Think of it like attending one of Jeremy's live presentations, however, at this one you can take notes if you like. Although you may be sitting next to someone at a table you won't be required to perform any kind of group task, etc. 
What will the temperature of the room be?
We try to keep the room a little on the cooler side as there will be 50 people attending. So take along a sweater just in case you feel a little cold. It's easier to warm up in a cool room as opposed to cooling down in a warm one :)
Will Jeremy's books be available for sale at this seminar?

Will there be free parking available at the hotel?
Yes, seeing that this seminar is for only 50 people, parking should not be an issue. However, we always encourage car-pooling! 
When registering, will my information ever be shared with anyone?
Absolutely not. Never.
Will I be able to purchase tickets at the actual seminar? 
Unfortunately not, as this seminar will sell out fairly quickly. This website is the absolute only place to purchase your ticket(s).
Will I ever be video recorded or photographed during this seminar.
